Job Title: Air (Import & Export Air Freight) Operations CoordinatorJob Location: Chicago, IllinoisAs an Air Operations Coordinator you will be responsible for the movement of our customer’s air freight shipments. You will be the main point of contact for coordination between customer’s shipment imports/exports, customs brokers, and shipping carriers.To coordinate Import & manage Export Airfreight bookings for Motorsport and Event shipments, to monitor all consignments from point of arrival for imports and export departure for all export airfreight movements.To be experienced in Import & Export Air freight processes, booking space capacity with airlines, experienced with aviation security procedures, DG experience & TSA processes for aircargo is preferable. Operational CW1 (CargoWise) experience preferableTo manage all file overheads to ensure files costs are accrued and recorded with correct vendors, supplier invoices processed for payment and costs recorded to CW1To manage all files to ensure all files are uplifted and post delivery or post event and completed, milestones are updated and invoiced as requestedTo coordinate day to day operations with the team to ensure all works tasks and objectives are completed in the timeline requiredTo oversee and collaborate with the team to ensure all operational overviews and pre alerts are managed and completed to complete operational excellence.The role is office based at DGF, ORD as a Monday - Friday position with a hybrid of WFH days, however around peak race periods out of hours and weekend work and possible domestic travel will be requested to cover live Motorsport events Skills / Requirements:• Exceptional customer service skills• Detail oriented and strong follow-up skills• Proficient with Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Outlook)• Air freight industry experience preferred• Cargo Wise systems knowledge is a plusPay Range: $68,722.50 - $91,630.00+ (Based on Experience)Benefits (All Non-Union Employees)Compensation: Competitive base salary plus role dependent performance-based incentives.401(k) Match: $1-for-$1 match up to 4% quarterly + 2% annual base contribution.Stock Purchase Plan: Ability to purchase Deutsche Post AG shares at a discounted rate.Medical: Comprehensive plans covering preventive care, inpatient/outpatient services, and prescriptions.Vision: Optional coverage for exams, frames, and contacts.Dental: Optional coverage for preventive, basic, and major services.Paid Time Off: 7 major holidays, 8 floating holidays, and accrued vacation/sick days.Why Join DHL Global Forwarding?At DHL Global Forwarding, we invest in our employees’ growth, providing training, guidance, and career advancement opportunities.
