Key Responsibilities

Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory conditions and disorders
Administer respiratory therapies including oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and mechanical ventilation
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
Document patient assessments, treatments, and responses accurately in the medical record
Respond to respiratory emergencies and provide critical care support as needed

Required Qualifications

Active Respiratory Therapist license in the state of Iowa or eligibility to obtain
Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
Current BLS certification required
Ability to work night shifts, every other weekend, and rotating holidays

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience in an acute care or hospital setting
Familiarity with mechanical ventilation and critical care respiratory support
Strong communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced clinical environment
